Special Glands

MJ glands for “D” pattern pipe are special and cannot be interchanged with standard MJ glands or MJ split glands.

Various designs of MJ retainer gland devices, designed and manufactured by others, are available. AMERICAN does not warrant the performance of joints utilizing such devices; however, AMERICAN has designed and does manufacture a number of restrained joints, such as Fast-Grip, Flex-Ring, Field Flex-Ring and Lok-Ring, that do carry AMERICAN’s warranty.
