4" though 64" ductile iron mechanical joint sleeves are not included in AWWA C110. In many cases, fabricated sleeves/couplings accomplish the same installation objectives as mechanical joint sleeves. “Drop-in” restraint can be provided by coupling gland ends. Contact manufacturers for details.

Fabricated sleeves are readily available from various manufacturers for coupling ductile iron pipe plain ends to pipe plain ends of other material types and other outside diameters.
